What to put in your first message
Strapping is sized to the load, not sold off a shelf. The more of this you send in the first email, the sooner you get a real price instead of a range.

Width and thickness
In millimetres. If you are replacing an existing strap, the old roll label tells us most of what we need.

Core size and roll length
Core diameter plus the length or net weight per roll, so the roll fits your machine and your racking.

What you are strapping
The goods and the weight per unit load. This is what decides the tensile class you actually need.

How it is applied
Manual tools, semi-automatic or fully automatic strapping. Feed behaviour differs between them.

Volume
Monthly or annual quantity, and whether this is a trial order or a running contract.

Destination and terms
Port of discharge and your preferred incoterm, so the quotation lands in a form you can compare.

Colour or branding
Any colour requirement, or printing on the strap surface for traceability and brand control.

Documents you need
Test reports, certificates or customs paperwork that has to travel with the shipment.
